Israel comply with reunion of 1,000 Palestinian households – Center East Monitor

Head of the Palestinian Authority (PA)’s Common Fee of Civil Affairs, Hussein al Sheikh, introduced on Wednesday that Israel had agreed to the reunion of 1,000 Palestinian households.

On twitter, Al Sheikh wrote: “That is the second batch of reunification settlement which covers all Palestinian governorates.”

In the meantime, Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Publish reported that Defence Minister Benny Gantz agreed on 9,500 circumstances.

Al Sheikh mentioned that the settlement on the reunion of the Palestinian households was a part of the understandings that passed off between Gantz and the PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

On 19 October, the PA introduced Israel’s settlement on 4,000 reunions, whereas in August the PA introduced Israel’s settlement on 5,000 reunions.

The Israeli occupation, Al Sheikh mentioned, had stopped its agreements on reunions 12 years earlier than the Gantz and Abbas understandings.

Gantz and Abbas held early this week their second face-to-face assembly since August.

“We mentioned the implementation of financial and civilian measures and emphasised the significance of deepening safety coordination and stopping terror and violence (Palestinian resistance) for the well-being of each Israelis and Palestinians,” Gantz mentioned.
