Settlers place menorah on Jerusalem mosque roof – Center East Monitor

Jewish settlers right this moment positioned a giant menorah on the roof of the Palestinian Nabi Samuel village mosque in occupied northern-western Jerusalem, the Palestinian Info Centre reported.

One of many native residents mentioned settlers, escorted by members of a Jewish temple group, put the candelabrum on the mosque’s roof. This comes as a part of Jewish preparations to mark Hanukkah, the competition of lights.

The unlawful Israeli Separation Wall has remoted the Palestinian village of Nabi Samuel from surrounding Palestinian villages.

Occupation authorities deal with the village as a part of the Giv’at Ze’ev settlement bloc and solely enable its residents – about 250 Palestinians – and unlawful Jewish settlers to enter it.
