I first tasted these as a visitor of among the best cooks in Lebanon, Mrs. Mimi Arab, who informed me she bought the thought from her daughter, who can also be one of the best gourmand cook dinner I’ve ever had the privilege to fulfill there. 4 ounces blue cheese (can use feta cheese or Boursin)

2 ounces mexican crema (can use labneh or cream cheese)

1 ounce of chopped pistachios or nuts to garnish (optionally available)

4 cups of water to boil apricots in (sufficient water to cowl)

 

Directions

  1. Place the apricots in a saucepan, add the water and produce to a simmer. Simmer gently for quarter-hour or till the apricots are plump and smooth. Cool and drain them. Reserve the water to drink with a juice or a smoothie.
