Bennett’s remarks about Palestinian state ‘slap within the face’ – Center East Monitor

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Motion Hamas has acknowledged that the remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, that he won’t permit the creation of a Palestinian state, are a “slap within the face” of the negotiation group.

In a press release, Member of Hamas Political Bureau Izzat Al-Rishq defined: “The remarks made by the Israeli occupation’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he won’t permit any talks resulting in the creation of a Palestinian state discloses the truth of our enemy and its warfare on our folks.”

He added: “This proves that these operating after a Palestinian state given by the occupation are merely operating after a mirage.”

Al-Rishq careworn that the Palestinian state couldn’t be created with out sacrifices: “It may solely be achieved by way of resilience and steadfastness.”

On Friday, Bennett repeated earlier remarks by which he careworn that he would by no means meet with Palestinian negotiators, specifically Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas.
