Bennett’s remarks about Palestinian state ‘slap within the face’ – Center East Monitor

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Motion Hamas has said that the remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, that he is not going to enable the creation of a Palestinian state, are a “slap within the face” of the negotiation workforce.

In an announcement, Member of Hamas Political Bureau Izzat Al-Rishq defined: “The remarks made by the Israeli occupation’s Prime Minister Naftali Bennett that he is not going to enable any talks resulting in the creation of a Palestinian state discloses the fact of our enemy and its battle on our individuals.”

He added: “This proves that these working after a Palestinian state given by the occupation are merely working after a mirage.”

Al-Rishq confused that the Palestinian state couldn’t be created with out sacrifices: “It may solely be achieved through resilience and steadfastness.”

On Friday, Bennett repeated earlier remarks during which he confused that he would by no means meet with Palestinian negotiators, particularly Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas.

“I’m from the best wing, and my positions are unchangeable,” he asserted, stressing: “There shall be no new Oslo (accords). If there have been talks with the Palestinians, there wouldn’t be a authorities.”

He added: “I reject the creation of a Palestinian state. I’ll by no means enable finishing up political talks on the borders.”

Relating to the meetings between Abbas and Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz and International Minister Yair Lapid, Bennett said: “They don’t have any energy to debate this political concern with the Palestinians.”
