Florida stops investing in Ben & Jerry’s mum or dad firm – Center East Monitor

The US state of Florida will stop new investments in London-based Unilever, Ben & Jerry’s mum or dad firm, because of the ice-cream agency’s resolution to cease promoting its merchandise in unlawful settlements positioned within the occupied Palestinian territories.

The transfer comes three months after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ordered the State Board of Administration (SBA) so as to add Unilever to its listing of “scrutinised corporations” that boycott Israel.
