Iran launches navy drills on border with Azerbaijan, Armenia – Center East Monitor

Iran on Friday introduced launching navy workouts on its borders with Azerbaijan and Armenia, within the northwestern a part of the nation, Anadolu reviews.

In an announcement, the commander of Iranian floor forces, Kioumars Heydari, stated the maneuvers had been launched with the participation of armored and artillery models, drones and digital warfare models, and military helicopters.

Noting that the drills will increase the extent of fight readiness of the bottom forces, Heydari stated two anti-armour and another weapons produced by his nation might be examined.

He claimed that “Daesh terrorists got here to his nation’s borders on the invitation of a regional state throughout the clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”

Heydari stated his nation emphasised the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan throughout the subjugation of the Karabakh area by Armenia, including: “We by no means defended the occupation.”

Notably, the choice to carry the maneuvers comes after Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in an interview with Anadolu Company just lately, criticized the “unlawful entrance and presence” of Iranian trailer vehicles into the just lately liberated Karabakh area.
