Irit Lillian formally assumes duties as Israeli ambassador in Turkiye – Center East Monitor

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday acquired the credentials of latest ambassadors from 4 nations, together with Israel.

On the presidential advanced within the capital Ankara, Erdogan welcomed Israeli Ambassador Irit Lillian, marking the primary appointment by Tel Aviv since 2018.

Senior diplomat Lillian, whose appointment was introduced on Sept. 19, had served as Israel’s cost d’affaires in Ankara for the previous two years.
