Israel destroyed 172,900 properties, expelled 1.3m Palestinians for the reason that Nakba – Center East Monitor

The Israeli occupation has demolished about 172,900 Palestinian properties, displaced 1,324,000 Palestinians and confiscated 19 million dunums (19,000 sq. kilometres) of the land of historical Palestine “to deliver 5 million Zionist immigrant from across the globe to switch the indigenous individuals.”

Marking the World Habitat Day yesterday, the Land Analysis Centre in Jerusalem mentioned: “In the course of the Nakba 1948, the Israeli occupation demolished 125,000 Palestinian homes and displaced 800,000 Palestinians, about 47 per cent of the Palestinians.”

The centre said that the continual Israeli assaults led to the occupation of about 78 per cent of historic Palestine and demolished about 4,500 homes, rendering 30,000 Palestinians homeless between 1950 and 2021.
