Israel forces wound tons of of Palestine protesters in West Financial institution – Center East Monitor

Israeli occupation forces on Friday wounded 217 Palestinians protesting towards unlawful Israeli settlements within the West Financial institution, the Palestine Purple Crescent Society (PRCS) disclosed in an announcement.

The PRCS revealed that 217 protesters had been injured, together with 35 shot by rubber-coated steel bullets and 182 subjected to suffocation after inhaling tear gasoline.

Eyewitnesses advised reporters that fierce clashes broke out on Friday afternoon between dozens of protesters and Israeli troopers within the villages of Beita and Beit Dajan, close to the northern West Financial institution metropolis of Nablus.

Clashes in Beita have been ongoing for nearly 4 months in protest towards establishing a settlement outpost on lands owned by the villagers.

The protesters on Friday waved Palestinian flags, chanted slogans towards the Israeli occupation and threw stones on the Israeli troopers who fired rubber bullets and tear gasoline canisters to disperse them.

In the meantime, medics mentioned that dozens of Palestinian protesters were injured by Israeli soldiers during clashes in Al-Mughayyir, a village east of Ramallah, in protest towards Israel’s settlement enlargement, in line with Marzouq Abu N’iem, the pinnacle of the village.

The village head advised reporters that the Israeli troopers fired tear gasoline at a peaceable demonstration rejecting the closure of the doorway to the village.

Palestinian safety sources mentioned that comparable protests and clashes broke out close to the cities of Qalqilya and Hebron within the West Financial institution, including that a number of Palestinians had been injured by rubber bullets and tear gasoline.

In a press assertion, the Palestinian Ministry of International Affairs condemned: “The brutal Israeli military repression of peaceable protests and demonstrations to reject Israeli settlement within the West Financial institution.”

A press release issued by the ministry introduced: “The Israeli military practices towards the Palestinian protesters violate worldwide regulation,” including: “The silence of the worldwide neighborhood encourages Israel to hold on with these practices.”
