Israeli inside minister, Ayelet Shaked, introduced that her authorities would take a choice to arrange seven to 12 new residential areas within the Negev area “to accommodate new Jewish immigrants.”
“We predict tens of 1000’s if not a whole lot of 1000’s of immigrants will arrive from Russia, Ukraine, and former Soviet states,” Shaked advised Channel 7, including that the brand new communities would “bolster the Negev” and can be “essential to soak up the anticipated wave of latest immigrants.”
Calling on the heads of native councils to arrange for the absorption of immigrants, Shaked identified that there was a “nationwide housing disaster” in Israel.
“What is going to occur when new immigrants attain us from Ukraine and Russia,” she reiterated, including that extra properties had been requiring “aggressive and fast development to accommodate the mass arrivals.”
