US to reopen consulate in East Jerusalem quickly – Center East Monitor

Palestinian Authority (PA) officers have stated that the US is to reopen its consulate in occupied East Jerusalem in just a few weeks, Haaretz reported yesterday.

In line with the Israeli newspaper, the PA officers instructed Haaretz that senior US officers had revealed this data to them.

The American consulate in occupied East Jerusalem served Palestinians from the occupied West Financial institution, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip.

Former US President Donald Trump, who was a really vocal supporter for the Israeli occupation state, closed it in 2018.

Israel opposes the transfer, Haaretz stated, and Israeli officers are working to reverse the American resolution.
