Israel demolishes one of many oldest Muslim graveyards close to Al-Aqsa Mosque – Center East Monitor

The Israeli occupation’s Jerusalem Municipality yesterday demolished one of many oldest Muslim graveyards within the occupied holy metropolis, reported Wafa information company.

The top of the Committee for the Preservation of Islamic Cemeteries in Jerusalem, Mustafa Abu Zahra, mentioned the Jerusalem Municipality’s groups, accompanied by a bulldozer, destroyed a grave from the Al Yousifieh Cemetery, and scattered the bones.

He added that among the many graves demolished had been these of Muslims who had been martyred within the conflicts between 1948 and 1967, and that Israel will face authorized motion in response to the municipality’s actions.
