Contemporary protests erupted in Sudan on Sunday to demand full civilian rule, with protesters blocking the primary land highway with Egypt.
Protesters within the Northern State blocked the Sheryan al-Shimal highway between Sudan and Egypt in protest of what they name the Egyptian authorities’s assist for the army takeover in Sudan, in accordance with an Anadolu Company reporter.
“We’ll absolutely block the highway between the 2 nations and cease the Sudanese exports to Egypt,” the resistance committees, which led protests in opposition to former President Omar al-Bashir, stated in a press release.
