Russia autos unload landmines in North Syria countryside – Center East Monitor

Russian navy autos have unloaded massive numbers of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines in northern Syria’s countryside of Tal Rifaat, which is managed by the YPG/PKK, Anadolu Company reported on Friday.

Members of the YPG/PKK group, designated a terror group by Turkey, had been seen planting the mines in northern Syria. This measure is allegedly being taken to strengthen the group’s presence within the area.

YPG/PKK members are laying landmines on the frontlines within the Tanab and Julbul areas within the west of the Tal Rifaat district of Aleppo, situated 11 miles from the Turkish border.
