Abbas excludes shut aides to Marwan Barghouti from Fatah – Center East Monitor

Palestinian Authority (PA), PLO and Fatah President, Mahmoud Abbas, has began a marketing campaign to exclude shut aides to jailed Fatah chief, Marwan Barghouti, Al Resalah newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Member of Fatah Revolutionary Council, Fakhri Barghouti, informed Al Resalah that Abbas carried out this marketing campaign as a consequence of his worry that Marwan could possibly be launched.

He additionally mentioned that the deliberate eighth Fatah convention slated to happen on 21 March aimed to exclude people who find themselves not loyal to Abbas.

“Abbas began the marketing campaign by stopping us from collaborating within the conferences of the Revolutionary Council,” Fakhri Barghouti mentioned, including: “This may also be translated within the eighth convention.”

The newspaper pointed that Fatah Revolutionary Council had began its conferences in Ramallah to organize for holding the eighth convention of the motion which is to happen on 21 March.
