The European Union has urged Israel to halt demolitions in occupied East Jerusalem, calling the displacement of Palestinians unlawful below worldwide regulation, Anadolu Information Company stories.
The EU urged Israel to not proceed with its plan to assemble 1,450 settlement-housing models between Har Homa and Givat Hamatos, based on a press release issued late Wednesday evening by Peter Stano, the lead spokesperson for the bloc’s diplomatic service.
“Settlement enlargement, demolitions and evictions are unlawful below worldwide regulation,” he stated.

On Wednesday, Israeli authorities demolished the Saliyeh household’s house after pressured eviction within the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood of occupied East Jerusalem.
