Iran says 9 troopers killed in clashes with US Navy in Persian Gulf – Center East Monitor

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated, Monday, that 9 troopers had been killed in direct clashes with the US Navy within the Persian Gulf waters, native media reported.

The Mehr Information Company quoted Navy commander, Alireza Tangsiri, as saying that the clashes passed off within the Persian Gulf, with out specifying the time, Anadolu Information Company experiences.

Tangsiri stated the clashes resulted within the killing of 9 IRGC troopers, with out offering any additional particulars.

The Navy commander identified that there have been many direct clashes between Iranian and US naval forces.
