Israel settlers burn Palestinian land in West Financial institution – Center East Monitor

Israeli settlers yesterday burned olive bushes owned by Palestinians within the West Financial institution’s northern occupied metropolis of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who displays settlement actions within the northern West Financial institution, informed Wafa {that a} “group of settlers from the unlawful Har Brakha settlement in Nablus had stolen olives from land owned by Omar Youssuf Al-Qenni in Kafr Qalil city.”

“The Israeli settlers set hearth to dozens of olive bushes within the land between the Jorish and Qusra villages, close to the unlawful Israeli settlement of Majdolim,” Daghlas added.

Settler assaults on Palestinian farmers and their lands have been reported to have escalated in latest months, coinciding with the beginning of the olive harvest season. Palestinians say that the Israeli authorities permit settlers to proceed their assaults with no penalties as a part of official efforts to accentuate settlement development within the occupied territories.
