Saudi Arabia broadcasts Eid Al-Adha holidays for Personal and Non-Revenue sector

In observance of Eid Al Adha, the Ministry of Human Sources and Social Growth (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia has introduced a four-day vacation for the non-public and non-profit sectors, which is scheduled to happen from June fifteenth to June 18th, 2024. The announcement was made after Thursday’s confirmed crescent Moon sighting, which marks the graduation of Dhul Hijjah on Friday, June 7.

As the start of Dhul Hijjah approaches, Friday, June 14 will mark the start of the Hajj journey for the 12 months 2024 (1445 AH). So, Arafah will likely be celebrated on June fifteenth, and Eid Al Adha will likely be celebrated on June sixteenth.

Because the crescent moon of Dhu Al-Hijjah was noticed within the Kingdom on Thursday night, the Supreme Courtroom of Saudi Arabia introduced earlier on Thursday that Friday, June 7, would be the first day of Dhul Hijjah month.
