‘Say cheese’, Israeli troopers drive Palestinian minors to pose for picture – Center East Monitor

Israeli troopers have forcibly woke up 13 Palestinian youngsters in the midst of the night time and illegally photographed them throughout a raid within the West Financial institution, based on Israeli rights group, B’Tselem.

A video posted by the rights group confirmed troopers waking up the 13 youngsters inside a home within the metropolis of Hebron and forcing them out of the constructing, Anadolu Information Company stories.

The kids have been ordered by troopers to line up and photographed, as members of the family tried to relax some crying youngsters.

The video confirmed Israeli troopers ordering the kids to say “cheese” whereas taking footage of them.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, citing a military spokesman, stated the incident happened in September. The spokesperson described the actions of the troopers as “inappropriate”, saying they have been warned and that measures could be tightened as much as forestall such incidents from recurring.

The army spokesman claimed that the troopers raided the home in Hebron to establish those that threw stones at a close-by Jewish settlement.

“These pictures reveal how the Palestinians dwelling below occupation are arbitrarily disturbed and the way their rights are violated by the troopers,” B’tselem stated in an announcement.

“Evidently all Palestinians, together with main school-aged ladies and boys, pose a menace to the Israeli army,” the group stated.
