Turkish Airways warehouse roof collapses in snowstorm, passengers protest – Center East Monitor

Excessive snowstorm causes the roof of a warehouse of Turkish Airways to break down on the Istanbul Airport, native Turkish media experiences.

In response to the report, the roof of a cargo warehouse constructing has collapsed beneath the burden of the fallen snow. Reportedly, no person died.

Turkish Airways has cancelled 36 flights up to now at Istanbul, and 31 at Sabiha Gokcen, town’s second airport.

Additionally, some passengers of Turkish Airways have been stranded on the Istanbul Airport, protesting over what they described as poor service supply after that they had been delayed for over 24 hours attributable to heavy snowfall on the Istanbul Airport, Turkey.

The passengers, who spoke with MEMO over the phone, had protested within the airport’s departure corridor demanding lodging and high quality customer support supply from the administration of Turkish Airways.

This video reveals that passengers are protesting as they’ve been ready for 2 nights on the airport with no provision for resort and one meal.
