Iran warned on Monday that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) shall be chargeable for destabilising the area as a result of Israeli presence on its territory, Anadolu Company reported.
Overseas Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh instructed reporters that Israel seeks to achieve legitimacy within the area by means of the UAE’s opening of its embassy in Israel.
“The United Arab Emirates should even be conscious that will probably be held accountable for the unrest and the results of presence of Jerusalem-occupying regime [Israel] on this area,” Khatibzadeh stated.
Final week, the UAE opened its embassy in Tel Aviv, a transfer that was preceded by opening an Israeli embassy and a consulate in Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively.
